Augustana College’s Sorensen Hall gets a $2.7M facelift
Augustana College’s second-oldest building is getting a $2.7 million facelift.
The 125-year-old Soresen Hall on the Rock Island, IL, campus, houses the college’s administrative offices. A pedestrian bridge across 38th Street connects it to the rest of the campus.
The work includes a refreshed façade with new windows, entrance improvements at the street level and second-floor bridge level, tuckpointing and painting.
IMEG provided structural engineering to the project as a subconsultant to Legat Architects.
