Davenport Community School District has opened a new gymnasium and wrestling room at Davenport West High School.

The $9 million project includes a 25,260-sf addition and renovation of nearly 20,000-sf of space. The school added a new wrestling room, weight and fitness room, restrooms, gymnasium, bleacher seating area, competition-sized and practice basketball and volleyball courts, and updated entrance.

IMEG provided structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services and technology services.

The renovation was finished in November 2024.
