Design underway for West Loop residential tower
A 38-story apartment building will rise from a parking lot in Chicago’s West Loop.
Crescent Heights of America is developing the 413-apartment residence tower at 640 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, just east of the Kennedy Expressway.
IMEG will provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and technology engineering design services and energy modeling.
The 425-foot building will have a two-story lower podium, a three-story upper podium and a 38-story tower, with a terrace, parking deck, and retail areas.
The $125 million project is in design and slated to open in 2025.
