E&D Company, of Idaho Falls, has joined IMEG. The year-end merger expands the firm’s industrial portfolio and enhances IMEG’s full line of services and geographic reach in the Northwest.

E&D serves as an owner’s representative and provides civil, rail, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering design along with automation and geotechnical services. The firm’s industrial-focused expertise has been serving both private and public organizations for more than 20 years.

“We are excited to add the E&D team and deepen our bench of expertise, particularly in the industrial industry,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “E&D has built a solid reputation for providing innovative design with a client centric approach and we look forward to what this merger means for our industrial clients and portfolio growth.”

Firm leader Doug Weber said his team is looking forward to being part of IMEG and the ability it brings to offer clients an expanded, full line of engineering services. Weber will continue to serve in a regional leadership role and the firm will operate from its existing locations, doing business as E&D d.b.a. ES2, now IMEG for the foreseeable future.
