IMEG will play a key role as St. Ignatius College Preparatory School modernizes its San Francisco-based campus. The Jesuit Catholic school has served the area for 160 years.

St. Ignatius plans to add a Learning Commons — 130,000-sf of flexible academic space designed to further traditional, immersive, project- and technology-based learning. The work will be completed in three phases: Learning Commons and East Lofts, Dining and Chapel building, and West Lofts.

IMEG will serve as sub-consultant to architect Mark Cavagnero Associates, providing structural engineering services, including schematic design, design development, creation of construction documents, and bidding and negotiation.

Work is expected to begin late in 2024 and take about two years to complete.
