IMEG-designed fire station achieves LEED Platinum certification
The City of Madison’s Fire Station 14 was recently awarded LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. IMEG worked with OPN Architects and provided structural, MEP, and technology design for the 16,000-sf facility.
The new fire station provided a solution to the fire department’s lack of space for recruit testing, incumbent standards, and training evolutions. It also provides space for community meetings, engagement, education, fire prevention, and health services such as community paramedicine.
