IMEG designed mixed-use facility in Chicago’s West Loop nearly complete
IMEG is providing structural engineering design and services for the new five-story, mixed-use facility at 1020 W Randolph in Chicago’s West Loop. With the final façade in place, the building is expected to be completed in spring 2023. The 27,000-sf building will house retail and office space.
The new building replaced an existing bank that demolished to make room for the project and it features varying patterns and orientations of brick to reflect the details of the other historic buildings in the district. The building is conveniently located for public transportation and includes a secure bike room with 18 bike parking spaces, lockers, an air pump and repair station, and a changing area.
