IMEG-engineered libraries featured in American Libraries’ 2024 Library Design Showcase
Two IMEG projects are featured in American Libraries’ 2024 Library Design Showcase. The list celebrates new and renovated libraries that act as “third spaces, where diverse communities come together to congregate, learn, and grow while also honoring local history and the environment.”
Grimes Public Library, Grimes, Iowa
The new $11.8 million, 22,300-sf, two-story Grimes Public Library was inspired by books. Its textures and joint patterns are set vertically in a random manner to suggest books on shelves.
