The University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics campus in North Liberty, IA has been recognized with multiple awards.

The 60-acre, 470,694-sf greenfield development — designed as the state’s first comprehensive academic center hospital in the region — has earned the Master Builders of Iowa Masters Award (over $40MM), the Chicago Athenaeum & European Centre Green Good Design Sustainability Award, and the Construction Owners Association of America COAA Way Distinction Award.

IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and construction administration services, playing a key role from master planning through design, and helping align building systems with campus infrastructure while identifying potential challenges early. The six-story hospital and clinic is designed to support advanced care today while allowing for significant future expansion.
