The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce has named IMEG its 2026 Corporation of the Year, recognizing the firm for exceptional performance, leadership, and commitment to the Quad Cities community.

The annual award honors a large business or corporation that drives economic growth and makes meaningful contributions through innovation, philanthropy, and civic engagement. The award also recognizes IMEG as “a hometown success story” that demonstrates a Quad Cities-based organization can achieve excellence on a national scale.

“Through strategic growth, innovation and continued investment in its people, IMEG is proving that a company headquartered in the QC can lead on a national scale while remaining deeply committed to the region it calls home,” the chamber said in a statement.

Headquartered in Rock Island, IMEG is a nationally recognized engineering design and planning firm with more than 110 offices and 3,400 team members nationwide, including 269 employees across three Quad Cities offices on both the Illinois and Iowa sides of the Mississippi River.

The award honors IMEG’s local roots and national reach, both of which allow the company to generate economic impact in the Quad Cities and beyond through job creation, growth, and long-term investment in its people and the communities it serves. It also highlights the company’s employee ownership model, which helps team members share in the firm’s success while strengthening retention, professional growth, and long-term community stability.

The company further supports the Quad Cities through community involvement, including volunteerism, sponsorships, STEM outreach, and scholarship investment.

“This recognition reflects the dedication of IMEG’s team members and the company’s commitment to the Quad Cities,” said President and CEO Paul VanDuyne. “We are proud to contribute to a community that has supported our growth for decades.”
