A mixed-use conversion of the former Gucci headquarters in New York City was named in Building Design + Construction’s list of “Four office-to-residential projects for 2025,” which highlights innovative spaces across the county.   

Lilker, now IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing for the project, 685 Fifth Avenue, which included renovation and vertical extension of the existing office building into 69 luxury condominiums.  

The office building was built in 1926, with an addition in 2000. The project converted 15 floors into residential areas and added eight floors and a mechanical penthouse, while keeping five floors of retail space.
