The William J. Hybl Sports Medicine and Performance Center at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs has won a 2020 Design-Build Institute of America Rocky Mountain Regional Award in the education category. IMEG provided MEP, fire protection, architectural lighting, and energy modeling services for the 104,000-sf project that opened in August 2020.

Located in the heart of campus, this state-of-the-art facility serves as a hub for the study of physical sciences and athletics at the university. Featuring educational spaces for exercise science, physical therapy, and conditioning, the center is a flexible learning environment that can adapt to several different uses. Along with multiple classrooms, offices, and conference rooms, the center also houses an auditorium, various wet/dry research labs, and specially designed occupational training centers that further contribute to its greater versatility.
