IMEG Senior Security Consultant Ric Everett will present at the 2026 Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience conference. His session, “A Holistic Approach to Securing Critical Infrastructure: Beyond Technology and Tactics,” will focus on integrated strategies to protect essential assets such as power grids, water systems, transportation networks, and healthcare facilities.

As threats like natural disasters, active shooters, and civil unrest become more frequent and complex, Everett will demonstrate how combining physical security, cybersecurity, threat assessments, and resilience planning creates a comprehensive framework for safety. Attendees will learn actionable strategies, including Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), emergency preparedness, and market-specific response planning, to ensure infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and sustainable in the face of 21st-century challenges.

The conference is March 10-12, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ric’s presentation is at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12.
