Colorado Preservation Inc. honors Wheeler Opera House renovation
Colorado Preservation Inc. honored the multimillion-dollar renovation of the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, CO, with a State Honor Award in May 2024.
The project restored the building’s 130-year-old exterior and infrastructure. IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, and fire protection design for the project, which was led by Mills and Schnoering Architects.
The project included upgrades to all mechanical systems and ensuring electrical systems could support a new freight elevator and stage systems.
