IMEG’s lighting design for HSBC U.S. headquarters earns NY Architectural Design Silver Award
IMEG has earned a NY Architectural Design Silver Award for its lighting design for HSBC’s U.S. headquarters in New York City.
The international banking corporation chose the Hudson Yards neighborhood for its U.S. headquarters, embracing a flexible workplace concept more akin to a boutique hospitality experience than an office.
IMEG created the lighting design, which includes the use of lighting fixtures as dramatic sculptural elements, and the use of Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology for electrical distribution connecting lighting, HVAC, audio visual, and security systems.
The awards honor the best in product, architectural and interior design, spotlighting innovations that enhance everyday life and improve the way we interact with our environment.
IMEG’s team included Senior Project Manager David Cyr, Senior Lighting Designer Suzie Lee, and Lighting Designers Lulu Wang and Karmen Ho.
