IMEG’s Richard Vedvik and Jeff Manning will present “Critical power: Ways to navigate circuit protection’s vital role in buildings” on a Consulting-Specifying Engineer webcast at 1 p.m. July 29.
The webcast will offer strategies for circuit protection design to support safer, more reliable, and resilient building power systems—particularly in mission-critical and existing facilities. This webcast will deliver practical strategies, NFPA code insights, and real-world applications to help engineers develop code-compliant, future-ready power infrastructure solutions.
Richard Vedvik, PE, CHEPP, Director of MEPT Quality, has extensive experience designing electrical distribution systems for normal and emergency systems for stand-alone buildings and multi-million square foot healthcare campuses. His electrical and acoustical experience extends into intelligible voice fire alarm and mass notification system design and testing.
Jeff Manning, PE, LEED AP, Senior Electrical Quality Specialist, is experienced in emergency power generation design, roadway and area lighting design, master plan and existing condition reports, LEED Projects, power/lighting/life safety/fire alarm system design, Revit, and project management.
