IMEG’s Zachary Galella will present a session at the New York Water Environment Association (NYWEA) annual meeting.  

Zachary will discuss “A Comparison of Gravity and Low-Pressure Sewer Alternatives for Wastewater Conveyance Systems,” at 9 a.m. Eastern, Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the New York City Marriott Marquis, SoHo Complex, 7th Floor.  

The presentation will discuss two most used sewer alternatives — gravity and low-pressure sewers. Low-pressure sewers are a newer technology that have gained inroads in the United States in recent years. This presentation will discuss the applications best suited for each, considering history/record, applicability, construction, potential costs, and operation and maintenance for each.
