Iowa American Water breaks ground on new Davenport headquarters
Iowa American Water has broken ground on a new 41,000-sf headquarters in Davenport, IA.
The $10 million facility to be built on 30 acres at 3409 Research Parkway is more than double the size of its current headquarters on Grand Avenue. It will include office and warehouse space, a training room, expanded parking, vehicle wash down area, and storage yard.
IMEG, as a subconsultant to Bush Construction, provided topographic survey, boundary, and site design services, and prepared civil construction plans for the development. IMEG also guided Iowa American Water through the city permitting and approval process.
The building is expected to open in the summer of 2023.
