IMEG’s Lea Cosenza, client executive of the firm’s New York structural engineering team, has been named an ENR New York 2024 Top Young Professional.  

Lea earned Bachelor (2007) and Master of Science (2009) degrees in civil engineering from Villanova University and received her MBA from Villanova this past spring. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. She also is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Urban Land Institute, and serves on the programs committee for Commercial Real Estate Women of New York. She is a board member of the New York Chapter of the Association of Medical Facility Professionals (AMFP). 

“Lea is extremely creative and adaptive in her approach to projects and there’s no stone unturned for clients,” says her former supervisor, Jan Vacca. “As an engineer and a leader, what’s important for her is the success of the project through team collaboration. She is a huge team player and there are no challenges that she will not accept, no challenges that she will not overcome. She has a tenacious ability to succeed.”
