JQ, now IMEG is providing engineering design services for the new Medal of Honor Museum on the North Central Texas College campus in Gainesville, Texas.  

The museum and community center will tell the story of the bravery and sacrifice of the nation’s Medal of Honor recipients. It is part of the Medal of Honor Host City Program, which brings recipients to Gainesville annually.  

President Abraham Lincoln established the award in 1861, as the United States’ highest recognition of valor in combat. 

JQ, now IMEG is providing structural engineering design services, including structural support for a salute to the Medal of Honor recipients on the concrete wall panels. The salute consists of vertical columns for each year, from 1861 to the present, with steel plates representing each of the 3,250 Medal of Honor recipients to date.
