Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center Children’s Heart Institute renovation wins ENR Texas & Louisiana Best Project Award
The renovation of the Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center Children’s Heart Institute in Houston, Texas, has won an ENR Texas & Louisiana 2025 Best Regional Projects Award in the Interior/Tenant Improvement category.
The project included the pediatric imaging suite and dialysis, infusion and oncology clinics. The second floor was renovated into the pediatrics dialysis and infusion unit. Two MRIs and a radiology room were added to a renovated ground floor space. An existing observation unit became a prep and recovery space for pediatric imaging.
IMEG provided structural engineering for the $11.7-million, 67,500-sf renovation.
