IMEG’s Michael J. Hults, PE, LEED AP, has been featured in New York Real Estate Journal’s 2025 Industry Leaders Spotlight, an annual spotlight showcasing accomplishments, challenges, advice, and key insights from leaders in the architecture/construction/engineering industry.  

Michael is Client Executive for IMEG’s Long Island office and a principal of the firm. He has more than 30 years of experience in the design of electrical, security, energy, civil, and mechanical engineering services, as well as the construction and project management of electrical, energy, civil, nuclear, environmental, mechanical, transportation, and force protection projects. He is a registered professional engineer in New York and a LEED Accredited Professional and has a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Missouri University. 

 Mike recently retired as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Reserve Affairs, after more than 30 years of military peacetime and combat engineering experience. Throughout his career, Mike has used his training for domestic and foreign design and construction projects; personnel, organizational, and project management operations; and logistical and strategic planning.
