IMEG provided engineering design services for the new Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council (MACRC) training center and union hall office building in East Moline, IL. The 65,000-sf state-of-the-art training center replaces the former training centers for both carpenters and millwrights, who are joining under one roof.

IMEG provided civil, survey, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design and commissioning services for the new complex, which has separate shop areas for carpentry and millwright training. The carpentry space features wood finishes while the millwright side is more industrial. The administrative facility houses offices, conference rooms, a cafeteria, and a 250-seat meeting room.
