The renovation of a historic department store in downtown Peoria, IL, into OSF Healthcare’s headquarters received an Architectural Precast Association 2022 Award of Excellence.

The award recognizes excellence in design, manufacturing and artisanship of Architectural Precast Concrete structures and individual components.

Its owner, Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis – the city’s largest employer — sees the renovation as an investment in the revitalization of downtown Peoria.

The architect was Dewberry Architects.

The renovation previously received an ENR Midwest 2022 Best Project Award of Merit in the healthcare category.
