QCESC names IMEG’s Autumn Buesking the 2026 Junior Engineer of the Year
IMEG’s Autumn Buesking has been named Quad Cities Engineering and Science Council’s Junior Engineer of the Year 2026. The awards program recognizes engineers for outstanding contributions to engineering and the community. The awards ceremony and banquet will be held Feb. 26.
Autumn was previously named one of 10 recipients of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) 2025 New Faces of Civil Engineering—Professional. She and the other under-30 honorees were chosen for their community service work, organizational leadership, communication skills, and industry involvement.
A structural designer, Autumn joined IMEG in 2022 following graduation from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in explosive engineering. She has served as secretary of the Quad Cities Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers and as chair of the Structural Engineering Institute’s Young Professional Engagement Committee. She also volunteers for Junior Achievement, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Festival of Trees, IMEG’s Employee Recognition Committee, and is a member of the Quad Cities United Way Emerging Leaders.
