The former Hotel Derek in Houston, Texas, will undergo renovation and reopen as The Greenleigh, a boutique-style hotel affiliated with Marriott International’s Autograph Collection.  

 Renovations include updating the guest rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces, redoing the building’s façade, adding a rooftop bar and a new resort-style pool area, and renovating a former pool area into an event space.  

It is expected to reopen in 2026. 

IMEG is providing structural, mechanical, electrical, and technology engineering design services and commissioning services for the nearly 265,000-sf project.
