Schmidt Consulting Group joins IMEG, expands DoD portfolio
Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc., of Florida, has joined IMEG Corp., substantially expanding the firm’s Department of Defense (DoD) portfolio across the country.
Schmidt Consulting has provided mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering design and services for the DoD throughout the U.S. and for other market sectors throughout the greater Pensacola and Gulf Coast region.
“We are extremely pleased to bring Schmidt Consulting Group into our company and expand our military project portfolio and expertise,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “Their knowledge of the Department of Defense and quality-driven design match perfectly with IMEG’s priorities.”
Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc. President Gene Schmidt said his firm is excited to become part of IMEG and help drive continued growth in the region and nationwide. “The merger provides stability and growth for all our employees as well as our clients and teaming partners,” he said. “This decision is a direct result of our success for nearly 40 years, and we look forward to continuing to deliver the same high-quality product and relationships with the added resources of a national company.”
Mr. Schmidt will continue as client executive with IMEG, overseeing current regional operations and a niche DoD-focused team with existing Schmidt Consulting leadership. The firm will continue to operate out of its existing office, doing business as Schmidt Consulting Group, Inc., now IMEG.
