Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s new health sciences complex to open in 2025
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville expects to open its new 220,000-sf health sciences complex in the summer of 2025.
The project includes a new 110,000-sf building to house the schools of Nursing and Pharmacy. Two existing buildings will be renovated and connected to it. The 220,000-sf complex will house classrooms, research laboratories, study areas, a nursing simulation lab, and administrative offices.
It will be designed and built to LEED Silver certification standards.
IMEG is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the project, which is expected to break ground this year and open in 2025.
