SUNY Geneseo’s sustainable Milne Library project featured in BD+C
IMEG’s Matt Meyer, PE, LEED AP is featured in Building Design+Construction with an article highlighting the transformative deep energy retrofit of SUNY Geneseo’s Milne Library.
The project achieved a 23% reduction in energy use, a 75% cut in greenhouse gas emissions, and was the campus’s first fully electrified building.
Delivered on time and about $1 million under budget and on track for LEED Silver certification, the retrofit showcases how sustainable design and engineering can modernize existing facilities while driving measurable environmental and financial benefits.
