Transformation of Butler Brothers building in St. Louis to be complete in 2023
The transformation of the historic Butler Brothers building in St. Louis into a mixed-use complex is expected to be completed in 2023.
The $130 million project is converting the vacant building into a mixed-use complex with more than 300 apartments, coworking spaces, a restaurant and bar.
The massive building was once home to Butler Brothers, a mail-order catalog wholesaler serving local retail stores. It was built in 1906 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The complex will be close to the $461 million Centene Stadium, where the St. Louis City SC Major League Soccer team will start playing next year.
IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the project.
