Trillium Woods plans $56M expansion in Minneapolis suburb
Trillium Woods, a continuing care retirement community in Plymouth, MN, plans a $56 million expansion to add a four-story residence with 52 independent apartments, 18 assisted living units, 16 private memory care studios, and a new restaurant to its 46-acre campus in the Minneapolis suburbs.
The $161 million LEED-Silver development opened in 2016. Existing buildings range from 50,000 to 392,000-sf and include a health center with 44 memory care and skilled nursing units, three independent-living buildings totaling 195 apartments, and 14 semi-detached townhomes.
IMEG Corp. will provide structural and MEP engineering services as a sub-consultant to architect Pope Design Group. Construction is expected to be complete in 2025.
