High school improvements underway in Tea, S.D.
Tea High School in Tea, S.D., is undergoing renovation.
The project includes adding a 1,200-seat performing arts center with practice rooms; a two-story 22-classroom addition that includes science labs; and a 22,000-sf gymnasium with a weight room and wrestling room.
IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for the project as a subconsultant to Koch Hazard Architects. Jans Corp. is the construction manager.
Construction began in 2023 and has been phased to keep the school open. It is expected to be completed in 2025.
