Waubonsee Community College to build new Career and Technical Education building
Waubonsee Community College is building a new 100,000-sf Career and Technical Education Center on its Sugar Grove, IL campus.
The $59 million building will house the community college’s programs in auto body repair, automotive technology, and welding technology. School officials say the new building will allow them to increase enrollment, offer students more hands-on training, and allow for more opportunity for industry partnerships. It is expected to open in the fall of 2025.
IMEG will provide structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering services for the project, as a subconsultant to Demonica Kemper Architects.
