The project: IMEG provided structural engineering services for the nine-story Dentistry Clinical Education Building, designed to enhance clinical training and education for dental students.

The goal: To provide state-of-the-art clinical, academic, and support spaces that accommodate a range of dental specialties while improving facilities for students, faculty, and patients.

The design: The building features nine types of clinical environments with 355 operatories, supporting disciplines from general practice to prosthodontics and implant surgery. It also includes labs, classrooms, student spaces, offices, and a rooftop central utility plant. The project extends to the renovation of three labs within the existing Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry building. A new parking garage offers 275 spaces for students and visitors.

The outcome: The facility expands hands-on training opportunities, enhances dental education, and improves accessibility for students and patients, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to excellence in dental care and research.
