The project: IMEG provided structural engineering services for additions to the existing Tanglewood Elementary School in Fort Worth, TX.

The goal: The project aimed to create additional learning and gathering spaces for the growing population of students in the district.

The design: The project included building a new addition within an existing courtyard on campus. The additional space allows for a new library with a media center and plenty of flexible space for learning and reading for students. The area also includes restrooms for the existing cafeteria. Renovations throughout the school ranged from the auditorium, various work areas to a new front entry canopy.

The outcome: The additions to the elementary school successfully provide updated learning environments on an existing campus.
