Expansion for Community Based Residential Facility
IMEG is providing engineering design and services for St. Camillus Health System’s major expansion to its senior living community. The existing campus currently has more than 500 residents in four buildings that include nearly 500 independent and assisted-living apartments, as well as a 67-bed short-term skilled nursing facility.
The development’s first phase will include 72 community based residential facility (CBRF) units, with 48 units set aside for people with dementia and others who need memory care, plus 48 additional residential units for retired clergy.
IMEG worked with Facilities Staff to provide a building automation system that is expandable to the entire campus, as well as an integrated low voltage system that incorporates nurse call, wander management, and video surveillance systems
