Fire Station #172 enables the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department to replace an existing 70 year old station. Services include law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency medical services for the City of Rancho Cucamonga. This station includes two drive-through apparatus bays, offices, equipment storage, living quarters, a fitness room, and a public lobby. A separate Law Enforcement section of the building includes a large conference room, briefing space, interview rooms, breakroom, offices, evidence storage, and secure lobby. A separate building onsite includes dedicated storage for each agency. The facility shares parking and storage facilities.

IMEG collaborated with the design build team to provide energy efficient, sustainable building systems that met the City’s budget goals. This facility functions as a daily 24/7 fire station for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, as well as a 24/7 sheriff station.
