The project: IMEG was awarded design and construction administration services for the replacement of thirty-four split system air conditioning units and twenty-six packaged rooftop units serving the campuses of Ayden Grifton and Farmville Central High Schools.

Scope of work: The design included a new 4-pipe chilled and hot piping system to replace the existing DX air conditioning equipment. Each school was equipped with two 2500 MBH condensing style hot water boilers, three 120-ton air cooled chillers, and hot/chilled water primary and secondary pumps. IMEG was responsible for the bid process and was successful in advertising the project for bid.

The outcome: The project was completed ahead of schedule in Summer 2024.
