The project: IMEG provided structural engineering services for the multi-phase project that renovated the existing O.D. Wyatt High School.

The goal: The project aimed to add much needed space for the growing student population, all while the school remained open.

The design: Renovations added common and collaborative learning spaces to the 1967 building with a focus on 21st century learning. The two-story addition focused on space for the school’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, including classrooms, labs, and makerspace. The project also contained an addition for a new front entry with a secure vestibule and canopy.

The outcome: The added space in the high school provides the necessary spaces for student success in a variety of learning environments.
