Historic Renovation
IMEG provided structural, mechanical, and electric engineering design services for the historic renovation of the 110,000-sf Robert E. Lee High School, built in 1928, now renamed Riverside High School. The renovation included laboratories, classrooms, offices, and the library, as well as a cafeteria addition, new commercial kitchen, and a 44,000-sf new fieldhouse.
A new Building Automation System (BAS) controls the new central energy plant which included two water-cooled chillers, two cooling towers, and a variable pumping system. The HVAC is also controlled by the BAS.
