The Dayton Reliable Tool manufacturing plant houses sensitive equipment used in machine tool production. IMEG provided civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design, along with industrial architecture services, for the 20,000-sf plant demolition and remodel. New energy efficient systems replaced existing HVAC equipment and distribution systems. IMEG also designed new electrical distribution systems throughout the facility for power and lighting.

In addition, IMEG provided waste and compressed gas systems to the new equipment, new fire alarm, fire protection, and security systems. IMEG was challenged to demolish an existing part of the plant and build a new space in the middle of the plant, while existing operations continued.
