The project: IMEG provided structural and civil engineering and land survey services for the new four-story academic building at UNT’s 100-acre branch campus, designed to foster collaboration and innovation in education.

The goal: To create a dynamic learning environment that encourages teamwork, transparency, and open communication while integrating indoor and outdoor educational spaces.

The design: Frisco Landing features nearly 70 small huddle rooms for group collaboration, outdoor classrooms, an amphitheater, and a signature bell tower. The project also includes a traffic bridge and new utility and transportation infrastructure to support the development of the campus.

The outcome: The new campus enhances the student learning experience by blending modern academic spaces with outdoor environments, providing a flexible and engaging setting for education and community interaction.
