The project: IMEG provided structural engineering services for the expansion of the existing recreation center to include a new aquatic center.

The goal: To enhance recreational and training facilities by providing upgraded aquatic amenities for students, athletes, and the campus community.

The design: The project consists of 15,600-sf of new construction and a 2,800-sf reconfiguration of the existing building. The expansion features indoor and outdoor pools, a therapy/training room, a training lab, locker rooms, offices, and support spaces.

The outcome: A modern aquatic facility that supports recreation, therapy, and athletic training while seamlessly integrating with the existing recreation center.
