Magnetrol, a manufacturer of level and flow process control instrumentation, consolidated its operations to a new 200,000-sf corporate office building and production facility, doubling production capacity while housing corporate operations under one roof. The build-out of the existing shell building includes 30,000-sf of office and 150,000-sf of manufacturing and research space.

The project involved the relocation of the entire manufacturing plant that required close coordination with the process designer to ensure that all equipment was provided with the necessary utilities including power, data, compressed air, gas, water and ventilation.

Designed to meet LEED criteria through the design development phase, energy models were performed to evaluate various HVAC systems including geothermal and chilled water, as well as various building envelope systems.
