New Four Seasons Resort
IMEG provided engineering design and services for the Four Seasons Resort at Calistoga, built on 29 acres designed to be integrated with the golden hills of Calistoga, CA.
The resort includes a lodge, banquet space, restaurant with full kitchen, spa and fitness complex, arcade, multiple pools, villa buildings, and private residences. The facility also has its own winery and vineyard.
IMEG designed the 5,000-amp distribution system, 600-ton condensing water system, and the approximately 200 tons of variable refrigerant flow equipment serving the various buildings on site. (These buildings are the Four Seasons brand’s first to be designed with a variable refrigerant volume system.) A geothermal loop field supplements the domestic water and condenser water system for the site.
The energy model is designed to use more than 30% less energy than a standard system.
