Located on west campus of the University of Iowa, the new student apartment complex features 270 one and two bedroom. The complex consists of five, three-story buildings and a separate one-story community center that houses the property management offices and common spaces for resident use, including fitness center, laundry facility, and multipurpose space and access to the campus shuttle service.

Thought was given to different structural systems for the project. Ultimately, wood was selected as the main system type. Wood is a renewable resource and also provides the University with a cost effective solution. IMEG structural engineers worked closely with IMEG MEP engineers on space coordination due to low floor to floor heights.
