IMEG provided technology and electrical engineering services to upgrade the telecommunications rooms and provide cabling to new video surveillance cameras at 13 elementary schools within the Davenport Community School District.

Category 6 cabling was provided to support video surveillance cameras and wireless access points for each of the schools. New fiber optic backbone cabling also was designed to support video surveillance and network systems. The video surveillance cameras were contracted to be installed by a separate contractor under a separate project. This caused some challenges with the design since the security contractor was still determining final locations of the cameras while cabling was being installed.
