Temple University’s new Aramark STAR Center is an athletics and recreation facility that also provides enhanced space for students in the College of Public Health to hone their clinical skills.
IMEG provided structural engineering design services, as well as parking consultation, for the 110,000-sf, 2.5-story facility
that features an indoor 70-yard synthetic turf football practice field, a recreational track surface, weight training/exercise space and support spaces, as well as an outdoor track. The building also includes enhanced space for the College of Public Health, with clinical teaching labs, lecture halls, smart classrooms, and an apartment fitted to ADA standards for student training in occupational and physical therapy.
