Systems Commissioning Projects
IMEG provided systems commissioning for the fit-out of two patient care floors at the University of Kentucky Healthcare’s Pavillion A, completed in 2016. Each floor includes 24 intensive care beds, 40 acute care beds, and all staff and ancillary spaces required for a fully functioning unit.
IMEG also provided commissioning services for the Academic Science Building (ASB) project, a new 230,000-sf, $91 million state–of–the–art science building that opened for the fall semester of 2016. The four-story facility includes interdisciplinary teaching labs and classrooms, common spaces, group and individual study rooms, and modern research laboratories.
The success of ASB project led to an open-ended commissioning services contract with the University. The following healthcare projects have been completed or are ongoing:
- Pavilion A 10th floor AHU

- 5,000-sf radiology expansion
- Pavilion A kitchen and café
