The project: The tenant improvement for the new headquarters space for Dutch Bros. Coffee is a two-level space housing multiple coffee shops, open office and collaboration areas, focus rooms, private offices, conference rooms, break room, fitness room, relaxation room with massage chairs, photo and video editing room, game lounge, arcade, and pickleball court. A “hype tunnel” entryway to the lobby features graphics, signage, and digital displays to get employees and visitors excited about visiting the office.

The goal: Bring together corporate teams in one location that is welcoming and energizing for employees.

Design approach: IMEG worked closely with the architect for the tenant improvement. Having previously worked on the design for the original building prior to this project, IMEG was very familiar with the overall design and facility. Engineers coordinated with the team on the hype tunnel lighting and provided design for expanded infrastructure for the four coffee bars, which mimic the company’s retail storefronts. This included plumbing and electrical design for the ice machines, water lines, and power to the coffee bars.

The outcome: The new facility provides Dutch Bros. Coffee with an energizing and collaborative space for employees to engage and connect.
